Far East University Korea Volunteer Corps in partnership with FEU East Asia College went here in the Philippines to do charitable service to our fellow Filipinos. around 300+ freshmen students alongside with their Professors plus 60+ Filipino volunteers(acts as guides of the koreans) from FEU-East Asia College joined the Activity, and luckily I’m one of the Filipino Volunteers. This activity is one of the most memorable experience that you can treasure in a lifetime. Hindi ka lang nakatulong sa kapwa mo, nag-gain ka pa ng friends. Koreans are good companions, they are humorous and kind people, they appreciate even the small things you give. 

First Day:

• orientation
• First batch of Koreans arrived at our School (98 Korean Student and Professors)
• Socialization
• educate basic Tagalog and vice versa
• some brief history of the Philippines
• Filipino game

Second day:

• Second batch arrived at school (300+ students)
• arrival of street childrens
• Arts and Craft with the street children
• Painting of rooms at Tecson Elementary School

Very tiring day, 22 Koreans na ang handle namin, 2 professors at 20 Korean students ang handle namin grabeteh.

3rd day:

• Kpop dance lesson with street children
• Kpop nursery rhymes with street children(Kinanta namin yung korean version ng tatlong bear sa loob ng isang bahay lalalala….)
• Drawing class
• 2nd coating of painting at Tecson Elementary School

4th day:

• Kpop dance lesson with street children
• Pinatikim namin ang mga Koreans ng Filipino delicacies (sampaloc, balot, tuyo,dried mangoes,yema, mango)
• Food Art with Street ChildrenKorean game
• Sports clinic at IAS Gym (grabe ang init sobra! yung mga koreans latang lata na, di pa naman sila sanay sa init sa Pinas)
• Sunset Viewing in a cruise ship at Manila Bay :)

5th day:

• Tour at the Manila Museum with street kids
• Cultural Activity, (Presentation of Korean and Filipino culture)
• actually dapat pagkatapos ng cultural activity uwian na, pero dahil nagyaya ang mga koreans at di mo sila pwede tanggihan, nagdinner kami sa korean Restaurant sa Ermita. :) (actually umulan ng Soju non, at tengga na kami, di ko akalaing makakauwi ako ng matino sa bahay) 11:30 na ako nakarating ng bahay.

6th day

Paghatid sa mga koreans sa airport. Aigoo, di na ako sumama kasi malulungkot ako ng sobra sobra, kanina nagpost sa wall ko yung isang korean teammate ko,Dongsaeng ang tawag ko sakanya kasi matanda ako ng tatlong buwan sakanya hehe, sabi niya sa wall post niya sakin “My friend, I miss you T_T” I can’t help it, naiyak ako. Ibang klase ang closeness eh, kahit 5 days palang kami nagkakilala ng mga teammates ko, parang magkaibigan na kami ng ilang taon. I thank God for giving us wonderful oppurtunity to have a great friends.

This is Prince from team 7, at ibang klase siya, He has passion for Filipino people. sabi niya sakin kahapon habang kausap ko siya “I want to live in the Philippines, because people are so warm and open minded.” also sinabi niya rin samin na if ever ayaw niyang umalis. Indeed he had a great time here in the Philippines

nakakabadtrip lang kasi nung una March palang pwede na magreserve kaso napostponed, tapos naging May 2 8am daw, eh anong oras na ngayon alas kwatro na di pa rin bukas? How come, almost a month ang preparation pero hindi naayos? how come -_-

I want to lose my patience, nasira na kasi lakwatsa ko sa kakaantay sa portal.
